Marianna Krapivner, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Individual
Psychotherapy
Success of individual therapy is based on the professional relationship created between the therapist and client. The time spent in session is exclusively about the client and for the client.
Couples
Therapy
Allows the couple and each partner to identify and process relationship challenges. Each partner develops an understanding of the couple’s relational dynamic and behavioral patterns.
Family
Therapy
The concentration is on interactions of the family members within the family system. The entire family is the problem, rather than the individual who presents the most symptoms.
Group
Therapy
Grief Support Group: Group members will be supported and guided through the stages of grief.
Process Group: A time-limited group psychotherapy allows members to explore challenges, struggles and impasses in the relationships with others.
My approach
I provide comprehensive empirically-validated treatment and emphasize a gentle, healing approach of helping patients reconnect with their inner world, restore identities, improve relationships, and grieve openly.

About me
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and have received extensive training in various Therapeutic Modalities. I conduct therapy in both English and Russian languages.
I focus on treatment of various types of trauma (multigenerational, developmental, shock, and relational trauma), identity formation, grief and loss, relational challenges, health-related issues, depression, and anxiety.
